A Farmhouse Dresser With Room for Everything

If your bedroom leans toward a farmhouse look, the Maverick dresser from Elements International is worth a close look. Six roomy drawers glide on ball bearing slides, dark metal pulls stand out against a weathered antique grey finish, and the distressed wood grain gives the piece a lived-in character from day one. It works well for couples who need shared storage, and it pairs naturally with the rest of the Maverick collection, including the panel bed shown in our room photos.

Materials and Construction

Both the dresser and the mirror frame are made from a mix of solid wood, rubberwood, plywood and MDF. The drawers run on ball bearing extension slides, the bottom drawer has dust proofing, and the hardware is metal. The manufacturer also lists an anti-tipping feature for the dresser. The finish is a weathered antique grey, and as with any photographed wood piece, the color you see in person may look slightly different from the images due to lighting. The Maverick pieces are made in Malaysia.

Assembly

The dresser arrives fully assembled in one carton, so it is ready to fill once it is in place. The mirror ships in its own carton and does require assembly to attach.
