Counter Seating with a Classic X-Back
If your kitchen island or counter height table needs seating that feels relaxed but still looks put together, the Alex Counter Side Chair pair is a good place to start. Each chair pairs a crossed X-back frame with a foam-cushioned seat wrapped in faux leather, and the transitional styling fits easily alongside both farmhouse and more modern pieces. Clients can pick from two wood tones: a cool Dark Gray or a rich Dark Brown (espresso).

Materials and Construction
The frames are built with acacia solid wood along with MDF finished in mango veneer, and the manufacturer lists corner-blocked reinforcements in the construction. The seat upholstery is a faux leather made of 75% polyester and 25% polyurethane, laid over a foam cushion. Lower stretchers connect the legs on all sides, and the front stretcher sits 8" off the floor as a handy spot to rest your feet. The chairs are made in Vietnam.
Assembly
Some assembly is required. Both chairs arrive together in one carton, so there is just one box to open and unpack.

Care
Dust the wood frames with a soft, dry cloth and wipe the faux leather seats with a lightly damp cloth, drying them afterward. Blot spills quickly and skip harsh cleaners. The chairs are backed by a 1 year limited manufacturer warranty.
