A dining set combines a dining table with matching chairs in one purchase -- ensuring the height, style, and finish coordinate without the guesswork of mixing pieces. Most sets come in 3-piece (table + 2 chairs), 5-piece (table + 4 chairs), and 7-piece (table + 6 chairs) configurations. Standard chair seat height for a dining table is 17 to 19 inches; the space between the seat and the underside of the tabletop should be at least 10 to 12 inches for comfortable leg clearance. We carry dining sets in standard and counter height, in wood, metal, and mixed-material finishes.

  • 5-piece dining sets -- table plus four chairs; the standard family dining configuration; fits most dining rooms and is the most common set we sell
  • 7-piece dining sets -- table plus six chairs; right for regular family dinners or households that host; requires a room that can accommodate a full-size table with pull-out clearance
  • Counter height and bar height -- taller table and chairs for a casual look; often used in kitchens and smaller dining spaces where the standard-height table would feel too formal

Our dining set selection runs from traditional wood sets in cherry, espresso, and oak finish to contemporary metal-leg tables with upholstered chairs. Current popular choices:
