Outdoor furniture in North Texas has to hold up to sun, heat, and humidity -- not just look good in a catalog. Our outdoor collection focuses on materials that actually weather the DFW climate: powder-coated aluminum, all-weather wicker, and treated teak. Read our guide to outdoor patio furniture for Texas to understand which materials last and which ones will need replacing in two summers.

Quality Home Furniture carries a full selection of outdoor and patio furniture at our Mesquite, TX showroom. Whether you're building a new outdoor living space or replacing pieces that didn't survive the last Texas summer, we have what you need -- from complete dining sets to sectionals, fire pits, and accent chairs.

What's In Our Outdoor Collection

We stock outdoor furniture across every category:

  • Outdoor sectionals and sofas -- modular seating designed for Texas heat and humidity, in wicker, aluminum, and all-weather fabric
  • Patio dining sets -- 2-piece through 8-piece sets, round and rectangular tables, with chair and bench options
  • Outdoor lounge chairs and chaises -- pool-side seating with cushions built for outdoor use
  • Fire pits and fire tables -- propane and wood-burning options that extend your outdoor season into fall
  • Ottomans and accent pieces -- complete the space without a full furniture haul

What to Look for in Texas Outdoor Furniture

The DFW climate is hard on outdoor furniture. UV exposure bleaches cheap finishes, summer heat warps plastic frames, and our spring rain seasons require frames that drain and dry quickly. Here's what holds up:

  • Powder-coated aluminum -- light, rust-resistant, doesn't absorb heat the way steel does
  • All-weather wicker (resin) -- looks like natural wicker, holds up in rain and sun; avoid natural rattan outdoors
  • Olefin and Sunbrella fabrics -- solution-dyed synthetic fibers that resist fading and mold; standard polyester will fade within a season in direct Texas sun
  • Tempered glass table tops -- safe in heat, easy to clean; avoid standard glass

Complete Patio Sets vs. Buying Individual Pieces

Most clients come in looking for a complete set and leave with one. Sets give you matching finishes, consistent frame construction, and a lower per-piece cost than buying separately. We stock 2-piece through 8-piece configurations so you can match the set size to your actual space.

If you're filling in around existing pieces, individual chairs, ottomans, and side tables are available too.
