The cherry finish carries distressed markings across the whole piece, and chevron-style door panels, dark bronze pulls, a hooded top and straight legs give it a relaxed farmhouse look that fits right in with the rest of the Jax collection.

Materials and Construction

The chest is built from poplar wood, MDF and solid poplar, finished with an acacia veneer. The drawers are put together with English and French dovetail joints and corner blocks, and they ride on full-extension ball bearing guides with a built-in drawer stopper. The top drawer is felt lined for jewelry, watches and other small keepsakes, and the bottom drawer has a dust-proofing layer. The manufacturer also lists an anti-tipping feature. Made in Vietnam.

Care

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth and wipe up spills promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners and keep the chest out of long periods of direct sunlight to help protect the finish. The chest is covered by a 1 year limited manufacturer warranty.
