Malibu - Panel Bedroom Set

A Warm Walnut Bedroom with Mid-Century Lines

If you love the clean, grounded look of mid-century design, the Malibu panel bedroom set from Elements International is a natural fit. The bed's plank-style headboard leans back at a slight angle, and every piece stands on slim tapered legs, so the room feels open rather than heavy. The walnut finish ties it all together, and you can build the set around a queen or king bed with the storage pieces your room needs.

Materials and Construction

Each Malibu piece is built on solid wood framing with a walnut veneer and finish. The queen and king beds are rated for 800 lbs. On the storage pieces, metal handles add a modern accent, the drawers ride on center metal glides, the top drawers are lined with black felt, and the bottom layer is dust-proofed. The chest pairs four drawers with a cabinet door that opens to shelving, and an anti-tipping kit is included with both the chest and the dresser. The collection is made in Malaysia.

Assembly

Assembly is required. The bed ships in three cartons (headboard, footboard with slats, and rails). The nightstand, chest, dresser and mirror each ship in one carton.
