A Farmhouse Chest With Room for Everything
If your bedroom needs more than a stack of drawers, the Scott Gentleman's Chest from Elements International mixes drawer storage with a cabinet behind a sliding, barn-style door. Three smaller drawers sit beside the cabinet, two wide drawers run across the bottom, and the top drawer has a black felt lining for watches, jewelry and other keepsakes. Dark metal pulls, a metal rail for the sliding door and straight legs round out the farmhouse look. Choose a walnut distressed finish (listed as Dark Brown) or a white washed distressed finish.

Materials and Construction
The Scott chest is built from rubberwood and MDF with oak veneer, plus metal hardware, using butt joint construction with corner-blocked reinforcements. Drawer fronts are joined with French dovetails and drawer backs with English dovetails, fixed by corner blocks. Drawers ride on 45 mm ball bearing glides with 3/4 extension and a built-in drawer stopper. The manufacturer also lists an anti-tipping feature. It is made in Vietnam.
Assembly
No assembly is required. The chest arrives fully assembled in one carton.
