A Tall Traditional Chest for Everyday Storage
If your dresser is full and floor space is tight, the Slater 6-Drawer Chest from Elements gives you plenty of room going up instead of out. It stands 54 inches tall on a 36 inch wide footprint, so it fits beside a closet door or in the corner of a guest room without crowding the space. Clients like the small details: a slim top drawer lined in black felt for watches and jewelry, dark metal pulls, beveled edges and turned bun feet. Choose antique white for a soft, classic look or black for a deeper, richer feel. It arrives fully assembled, so there is nothing to build.

Materials and Construction
The Slater chest is built from poplar wood and MDF, with butt joints and corner blocked reinforcements for added strength. Drawers use both French and English dovetail construction and are fixed by corner blocks. They ride on 35 mm ball bearing glides with 3/4 extension and a built-in drawer stopper. The bottom drawer has a dust proofing layer, and the manufacturer lists an anti-tipping feature. The style is traditional, and the chest is made in Vietnam.
Assembly
No assembly is required. The chest ships fully assembled in one carton.

This item ships from our Elements warehouse. Clients can schedule delivery or arrange pickup at our Mesquite store, 227 US Hwy 80 E, Mesquite, TX 75150, and our team will confirm timing with you. Every purchase includes a 4-year protection plan, and if it goes unused you get store credit back. Financing is available with approved credit. Questions? Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth and wipe up spills right away. Avoid harsh cleaners and keep the chest out of long periods of direct sunlight to help the finish look its best. The Slater chest is covered by a 1 year limited manufacturer warranty.
