If your living room leans toward an industrial look but you still want warm wood, the Boone set is worth a close look. The coffee table and end tables share a light walnut finish, apothecary style fronts with bronze handles, beveled front edges and slim dark metal hairpin legs. Behind those card-catalog style fronts, the coffee table hides two roomy drawers and each end table has a pull-out tray, so remotes, coasters and reading material have a home of their own.

Materials and Construction

Framing and moldings are solid acacia wood, while the case panels, tops and aprons are particle board finished with an acacia veneer. The drawer and tray fronts are MDF with acacia veneer and English dovetail joinery, and the drawer boxes and backs are plywood, also joined with English dovetails. Drawer bottoms are MDF set with groove and glue plus corner blocks. Drawers glide on full-extension ball bearing guides with a built-in stopper, and an MDF dust proofing layer sits under the drawers. The legs are dark metal in a hairpin style. These pieces are made in Vietnam.

Assembly

Some assembly is required. The coffee table ships in 1 carton, and each end table ships in its own carton.

Care

Dust the wood surfaces with a soft, dry cloth, wipe up spills promptly, and use coasters under drinks. Avoid harsh cleaners on the veneer and metal legs. Each piece is covered by a 1 Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty.
