Materials and Construction

The Canterbury pieces are finished over cherry veneer, in your choice of Grey or Ivory. The bed sits on 10 slats and is rated for up to 800 lbs, and its six storage drawers run on center metal glides. The nightstand, chest and dresser use ball bearing drawer glides. Listed weight capacities are 165 lbs for the chest and 302 lbs for the dresser. All pieces are made in Vietnam.

Assembly

The storage bed requires assembly and ships in three cartons: the headboard, the storage footboard with slats, and the storage rails. The mirror also requires assembly. The nightstand, chest and dresser each arrive in one carton with no assembly required.

This item ships from our Elements warehouse. Clients can schedule delivery or arrange pickup at our Mesquite store, 227 US Hwy 80 E, Mesquite, TX 75150, and our team will confirm timing with you. Every purchase includes a 4-year protection plan, and if it goes unused you get store credit back. Financing is available with approved credit. Questions? Care

Each Canterbury piece carries a 1 Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty. For everyday care, dust with a soft, dry cloth, wipe up spills promptly, and use coasters or a tray under drinks and lamps to protect the finish. Finish color may look slightly different in person than on screen due to lighting.

How much storage is built into the Canterbury bed?

The bed has six drawers: two in the storage footboard and four in the side rails. Side rail drawers measure 28" W x 18.7" D x 7.8" H. Footboard drawers are 27.6" W on the Queen and 35.4" W on the King, both 18.3" D x 7.8" H.

Which pieces need to be assembled?

The storage bed needs assembly and comes in three cartons (headboard, footboard with slats, and rails), and the mirror also requires assembly. The nightstand, chest and dresser arrive with no assembly required.
