When a child's room has to fit a bed, a homework spot and a place for every sweater, the Hampton Kids loft set gives you all three without crowding the floor. A storage staircase with drawers climbs to a twin loft, a desk with a built-in speaker sits underneath the far end, and the matching case pieces bring dovetailed drawers on ball bearing glides. Pick a twin loft by itself, or go with the Twin over Full layout, which adds a full-size bed on castors below for sleepovers or siblings. Both are offered in White or Charcoal, with a transitional look and a grained oak veneer.

Materials and Construction

Every piece carries an oak veneer. The chest, dresser and nightstand are built on a solid wood frame finished in grained oak veneer, with dovetailed drawers that run on 45 mm ball bearing glides, a felt-lined top drawer (top drawers on the dresser) and a dust-proofed underside. The storage staircase and desk drawers also use 45 mm ball bearing glides. The chest and dresser each include an anti-tip kit, and the nightstand has a built-in USB port for charging devices. In the Twin over Full sets, the full bed ends come with castors. The set is made in Vietnam.

Assembly

All of the loft components (staircase, side panels, guard rails, bed frame parts, slat rolls and desk) are marked assembly required, and each ships in its own carton. The chest, nightstand, dresser and mirror are listed as not requiring assembly.
