A Colorful Mid-Century Pair for Your Dining Table
If your dining room could use a little personality, the Santa Barbara side chairs from Elements International are a simple way to add it. Each chair pairs a fully upholstered seat and back with a solid wood frame in a warm walnut finish, and the armless, mid-century modern shape slides neatly under the table. The 18" seat height suits standard dining tables, so the pair works well for a family table, a breakfast nook, or as two extra seats to round out a mixed set.
What's Included
Every order is one set of two matching side chairs, packed together in a single carton. Pick the fabric color that fits your room:
- Orange: two chairs in Orange fabric with a Walnut frame (D-16550-5-SCR)
- Dark Gray: two chairs in Dark Grey fabric with a Walnut frame (D-16550-5-SCS)
- Green: two chairs in Avocado fabric with a Walnut frame (D-16550-5-SCA)
- Blue: two chairs in Denim Blue fabric with a Walnut frame (D-16550-5-SCB)
Dimensions
Both chairs in the set are the same size. Measurements are for one chair:
- Each side chair: 20" W x 24" D x 37" H
- Seat height (floor to seat): 18"
- Assembled weight: 15 lb
Materials and Construction
The frame is made with solid wood and finished in walnut. The seat and back are covered in Palmer fabric, and straight legs give the chair its clean, classic stance. Stretchers run between the legs to help the frame resist side-to-side wobble over years of daily meals. These chairs are made in Malaysia. Because of lighting, the fabric color in person may look slightly different from the photos.
Assembly
Some assembly is required. Both chairs ship in one carton, so everything you need for the pair arrives together.

The set comes in four fabric colors: Orange, Dark Gray, Green (Avocado fabric) and Blue (Denim Blue fabric). Every color option has the same walnut-finish wood frame.
Will these chairs work with a standard dining table?
