What is the difference between a panel bed and a platform bed?

A panel bed has a traditional headboard and footboard connected by side rails. It typically requires a box spring to reach a standard height. A platform bed has a solid or slatted base built into the frame that supports the mattress directly without a box spring. Platform beds sit lower to the ground and work well with foam or hybrid mattresses.

What mattress size fits a queen bed frame?

A standard queen mattress is 60 inches wide by 80 inches long. All queen bed frames in our collection are built to accommodate this size. If you have a short queen (60x75), which is used in some RVs and adjustable bases, check the specs before purchasing a standard queen frame.

Do your beds come with a box spring?

Our bed frames are sold without a mattress or box spring unless specifically listed as a set. Panel beds typically require a box spring or foundation to reach the correct height. Platform beds do not require a box spring and can use a mattress directly on the slats. We also carry mattresses and foundations separately.

Do you carry king size beds?
