Quality Sleep Foundation
A mattress foundation looks like a box spring but instead of having coils, a bed foundation features slats or a solid flat surface made of a corrugated material. They can be used to add support for a mattress on a metal bed frame or to keep the mattress off the ground. Two Twin XL foundations are used for King size mattresses.
