A swivel rocker recliner combines three functions: it swivels 360 degrees, rocks forward and back, and reclines. This makes them one of the most versatile recliner configurations -- good for living rooms where you want to turn toward different parts of the room or conversation areas, nurseries where the rocking motion is useful, and any spot where you want maximum adjustment. The swivel base requires slightly more clearance than a fixed recliner since the chair can turn past its footprint.
