Writing Desks

A writing desk is a simple work surface without built-in storage or a hutch -- typically 40 to 60 inches wide and 20 to 24 inches deep, at standard desk height (29 to 30 inches). They are the right choice for minimal-footprint home offices, for use as a homework station in a bedroom, or for any space where a simple flat surface is all that is needed. Without drawers, they pair well with a small file cabinet or rolling pedestal underneath for storage. They tend to be lighter in visual weight than executive desks and work better in multipurpose rooms. We carry writing desks in wood, metal, and mixed-finish styles.
